If you do pay her, it now needs to be official. Otherwise when the OR comes after you he'll want the whole lot back, at least if you can prove you've paid some back you can reduce the amount they can take.

Can the OR only request you pay up any monies given to you (especially if there names not on the house deeds) and not force you to.
And unless its fraud your friend would get slapped with a BRU/O for disposing of the monies.
Reading the BRU/Os on the insolvency site people have had there BC extended for stuff like saying they chucked 10k in the river!!!!!
