it will be all worth it in the end....its not half as bad as your imagining it is to be honest!
Remember on the day of court...Bankruptcy fees....3 copies of forms...something to read (you might be a while..you might not)....some change for drinks machineWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
Phil is right.
Anticipation is often worse than the event.
We were scared to over what to expect but everyone was nothing short of lovely.
Good luck

You'll be fine, a lot easier than you think, and you will start getting a good night's sleep if anything like me! All the best and let us know how it goes.Bankrupt 11th June 2008

It will be fine, honest!! We were in and out within an hour and it was all very polite and helpful, even bordering on friendly.
Also ring before you go and check how many copies of the form they want you to bring as mine only wanted one which certainly saved my printer cartridge seeing as we both went BR.
I wore a smart skirt and top and DH felt happiest in his work suit so I'd go with smart/smart-casual.0 -

Hi howdidthishappen,
Just a little info that may be of some assistance to you (or anyone else with an imminent B/R hearing).
If you are submitting the EX160 remission form for the £150 bankruptcy fees make sure you have the necessary dated proof of income etc that your court requires.
We are reminding people of this due to the recent experiences of some of our clients at our local courts where there have been some slight delays.
If anyone has any doubt whatsoever you should contact your court for clarification of what proof they require (including dated letters, bank accounts etc).
We have had few problems with self employed clients with regards to the courts requiring 3 months bank statements etc.
We know this has been mentioned in a number of posts before but as stated we have had problems recently and it is something that can be easily overlooked and possibly taken for granted on some occasions.
All the best.
