How many comps do you do a day?

  • I average about 100 a day since the middle of July - anything that myself or friends and family would like (cash, holidays gadgets, some dvds and cds etc) (still waiting for my first win :) )

I will definately try the subscribing threads thing as I always forget which I have entered and will save me checking the thanks :)
LMB: 2005 and got rid of £80k debt in 4 years (including getting mortgage down to 38k)
Mortgage: 09/10: Now back up to £68k
    Ivy CC: 09/10 £5k
    Quidco:
    09/10: £2212.74 (since March 06)
  • Somewhere around 10 a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. I read on a comping site once that, to start winning prizes, you should aim to enter at least 30 comps per week. I aimed for that and now my weekly total is slowly creeping up to around 50-75 comps per week. Although I admire your dedication, I couldn't enter as many comps as some of you do! :D

To subscribe to a thread (for those wondering), you click on the option of 'thread tools' from the top post of a thread then 'subscribe to this thread'. Then when you go back to the comps page, the thread will show a little tick on it so you know you've done the comp or checked the thread without having to go in to check your thanks.

I've just had a go! This is incredible.. I learn so much everyday
    School run soon-
Teachers open the door, but you must enter by yourself.

I think I do around 100 or so each day, but at the moment I'm catching up after my holiday, so I'm trying to get through as many as possible!

    Total to date - £309.15
March wins - Leaves of Grass DVD
  • I normally do a few days of comp endings. So not really sure how many. Do about 30 mins in morning after taking daughter to school, then a few hours on and off in the evening.
  • I do roughly about 50 a day, depending on how much time I have. I probably spend about two hours comping, sometimes more. I work from home so if I'm not too busy I can perhaps do a bit during the day, but mainly I do my comping in the evening.

Time only allows me to keep two or three days ahead of the date the comp would end, if I could spend more time I'd like to be more up to date.

Like most of you, I only enter for items that I'd like. Not bothered about CDs, DVDs or tickets, but would love to win a holiday, big TV or any little toys for my granddaughter.

If you enter 100 comps per day would you say its worth it?

I suppose it must be otherwise you wouldnt do it ... would you?

  • I tend to leave the comps of no use to me (holidays for 2, no one to keep kids for us, and stuff i just wouldnt use). I only started comping about 3 maybe 4 weeks ago (on here anyway have always done chat, tab and thats life). Doing no too bad so far. The amount varies, both my kids are at home so I pop on and off everycouple of hours when they have stopped clinging to my ankles or climbing on my head lol. I always aim to keep myself up to date tho which so far im managing lol.

As far as wins go sometimes its not worth it, I don't get a win out of every 100 I do, sometimes i go weeks without a single win even when I've entered well over 100 a day.

I do it as a hobby though, so because I personally enjoy it, yes its worth it. If it ever became a chore to do I would stop entering so many
Thanks to everyone that posts :T:money:
