Take no notice of these idiots on here that are in favour of un-welcome finance, ive had dealings with these scumbags for years. i had a car from them was told my last payment would be may 2011, had ppi with them but got it all back last year, fell into a bit of arrears as i had to make half payments for 6 months, also had a personal loan with them with ppi as well, the personal loan ends this month sept 2011, when i got my ppi back they took what i was in arrears with them for and got the difference, was told both my acc were bang up to date no arrears at all. ive paid every month never missed a payment, i cancelled the direct debit for my car after my last payment went out in may, bearing in mind my last payment on my loan is this month, i come home from work today to a letter telling me im in arrears and still owe them over £600 thats £460 over what i owe them, well guess what welcome finance you aint getting a penny more than my last payment ammount, i have proof im up to date with payments and that my last payment is due sept 2011, i think they check whos acc is coming to the end and try it on to take more money, well im no fool so ill see them in court, dont let these !!!!!! bully you, they need to be on watchdog and closed down, so all you muppets on this forum that are supporting welcome must work for the cowboys or never had dealings with them so shut your gobs you fools ..............0

Its amazing how these people prey on individuals that have financial
problems. I hope this forum educates the public on loan companies that
are non moral.
Btw, i found another company on the web and just wandering if they are the same people here is their info

no 1 is forced to take out a loan, im no expert but the majority of PDL companies are those who over spend beyond they're means/have no idea of they're current financial situation and continue spending.0 -

What a load of crap...if you can read and write you can do it all yourself without some leech claiming hundreds or thousands of pound of your money just for sending a few letters.....keep the robbing scumbags out of it.It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
Hi,
I am very new to this and i'm not sure if i'm in the right place but I really would appreciate some advice. Back in Jan 2008 I took out a loan with welcome finance the loan was for £1,500 with the agreement of £129 repayment a month over 37 months. The problem I had was 2 weeks after I took out the loan I lost my job (reason being I worked in sales and they didn't feel I was making enough sales) being young and not knowing what to do I paniced! I know that this was not the solution and I have approached this completely the wrong way but now I don't knwo what to do. Basically I decided to hide and I never made a payment on the loan, apart from a couple of letters in the first few months I have never heard from them and I assumed they had defaulted the account. I am now in a better postition and am looking for advice on how I should approach this situation to resolve this. The problem I have is I ordered my credit report which showed me that the account is still active! How i don't know as i have never paid a penny towards this and if I had kept the agreement this would of been paid off back in Jan 2011. The outstanding balance shows as £7,324 which I assume is due to late payment fees. I have read so many different stories on how to approach this but I am now more confused than ever if someone would kindly point me in the right direction I would be very grateful as I have absolutely no idea how to solve this myself?
Thanks
