Nothing yet mate, I haven't had time, or left the house!
How come you have to send Nan's card recorded?
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

Well do it fast and take it to a main post office, first class should be enough without the recorded delivery
Mind you, I know how important it is to get it there on time....at least you didn't remember tomorrow! :rotfl:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Nothing yet, but will buy 60p salad to accompany my lunch and also have last bits of ebay posting to do. I'm really freaking out because now that every penny is budgeted down to the last day you look in your account and there's only £40 till the end of the month! and I've got a hen do to go to! I should make it but it's scary all the same.Debt Oct 2005: £32,692.94
Current debt: £14,000.00
Debt free date: June 20080 -
£1.55 on stuffed croissant for breakfast as I was running late, but will have a bowl of porridge (using free milk) for lunch - keep a box of Oatso Simple sachets at work. Don't anticipate spending any more today.
Tondella - I like the way you've put your debt/spending details in your sig - what an incentive! I might do the same.
JulesThe ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0 -
Spent £8.50 on weekly Bus Pass, not planning on spending anything else. Fingers crossed.0

I am forced to buy a car for £525 today after a motoring disaster last night!!! Something SNAPPED and we had no steering...we are moving on Thursday somewhere remote and need to be able to get to work...so much for trying not to spend!!! :eek:Laughing at my ancient signature...voodoobaby now 10 years old:eek:0 -
I have just spent £325 renewing our car insurance, the very same car is in the garage getting a MOT retest so I will also have to pay for that plus a new lampa sensor when I get it back. Not a good day for me.0

Haven't spent anything so far, but am planning to spend:
Have a £5 Boots voucher to use by the end of today, so will probably add £5 to that to get another Christmas present for somebody (my Xmas planning so far this year has been useless, have no idea what to buy anyone, so end up wandering round shops looking worried!)
£1.10 for bus fare home.
No other spends except for bus fare permitted this week as me and OH are going out for the day on Saturday for a meal and shopping and then watching the Christmas lights being switched on.

Have bought lunch in with me, tuna & pasta bake with crisps on top, mmm - £0.00
Tonight I am meeting an ex-colleague for a drink/coffee, so perhaps £5 max....
