BCT Urgent Help Required
Ok so basically ive got finance on a car with British Credit Trust I picked up the car on the 6th now last Tuesday I was involved in a bad accident and the vehicle was written off. Ive done the usual and call my insurance and they are dealing with it but the only issue is I don’t yet have the V5 from the new owner. Ive got a form to fill in to get another from the DVLA but that’s going to take 4 weeks, luckily I have GAP as well, but my question is, what do I do if my insurance company are rubbish and take ages to settle the claim? Is there anything I can do to stop the payments on the finance? I don’t even have the car anymore and they are saying I have to keep paying until its settled. Things is I really need another car and want to get all this mess sorted first. Any ideas?
