personally wouldn't go with hotpoint, since researching freezers myself i have found the names miele, bosch or leibherr would be the best to go with.0

We've had an LG american style fridge freezer for over 4 years now - absolutely no trouble with it.

I've got an LG one. The first one was dead on arrival, but the second one has been brilliant. I've had no problems with it and I'm very pleased with it.
You need to decide if you want one with a water/ice dispenser or not. I went for one without as the freezer space is bigger, I wanted to put it in the opposite corner of the kitchen to the water supply and I couldn't be bothered with changing the filters! I'd rather just drink tap water and use a normal ice cube tray! Here I go again on my own....0 -
We have also had an LG (without ice or drink dispenser) for 5 years and it has been as good as gold. I could never go back to the titchy little fridge I used to have."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0
