amazing golf ball tracker

been trying to find a present for the golfer who has everything, when i came across this tracker ball, when you hit the golf ball it flashes red and creates a red streak across the sky as it flies. Never seen any of these before are they new?. anyway Ive ordered a couple ,english website too, can't wait to see my dads face on chrismas morning, better than his usual socks, its about half way down the webpage can't mistake the red flashing golf ball

What a good idea - does anyone know if these are any good? My FIL is golf mad - but every year we always seem to get him the same - a Polo Shirt!

Bought a 3-pack for brother-in-law's Christmas from e-bay last week and picked it up from the post office yesterday. The ball does feel slightly different to normal balls but I doubt there will be much difference distance wise for the "average golfer". Ball is approved by R&A etc. The flashing is effective and pretty sure it would catch your eye in the rough, so not just for use in the evenings. Flashing lasts for 5 mins after each hit (putting wouldn't be hard enough to set it off) and it says the battery should last for 4 or 5 rounds. Great novelty and talking value well worth the price.

Search for "tracer golf ball" in ebay will bring it up, although only the single pack one is up for auction at the moment.

They have them HERE plus some other novelty golf items like the remote control golf ball and exploding ones. Not sure how good they are but a good selection of stuff. There are always codes around for this site too.
My other half is just started golf so it gives me a whole new scope for prezzies :j .
