Student Loans, Grants and Bursaries.
Options
Hello all.
I'm off to Uni next September (after 4 years of procrastination) at the age of 24 (by then).
I know about the Student Loan company and have had a quote from them.
Are there any none repayable grants and bursaries or trusts I could seek out that would help anyone with the following criteria:
- I earn under £14,000 per annum (now after demoting myself for a stress free run up to Uni).
- My mother earns less than £7,000 per annum and my father is too ill to work. My mother works in a bakery.
- I am college educated with 3 A2's and an AS.
I intend to do a 3 years BA and then perhaps a Masters and PHD or go on to teach.
Many thanks.

Do that calculator, it will give you an idea. It will give you how much you would get this year, but not much changes (by few hundred max) year to year.0 -

No I can't I'm afraid. I can only do that on boards where I am a Board Guide (see my signature). I'm not on this one.
It may be worth a PM to to BGs for this board to ask, but the simplest thing is for the OP to pop over to the student board.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
