Costco have started doign their muffins iced and decorated in packs of 20 for 10.99
These woudl be great for individual cakes at a wedding arranged on a cake stand. As they are a generous size and taste delicsious. Plus savign a bundle of money. Hire of stand, say three boxes of these and Voila. I know when hunting around for a wedding cakes styled like this it was £150 upward,do it yourself this way and could cost less that £60, worth a look.

Hiya!
Sorry to be a pain, but can I ask a few more details - Costco is a fair drive from me so don't want to drive there and find I don't like them!
Are they the proper muffins - if so which flavour are they?
Also, what is the 'decoration' on them like.
These sound perfect for me, I was just trying to get an image of what they look like!
Thanks

My friend did this for her wedding day and it looked beautiful. She pre-ordered hers from morrisons, so they took her 'batch' out before putting them out. I picked them up on the morning of the wedding and the hotel where she had her do set them up. I think the whole lot cost £20 (there were 6 tiers worth) and looked amazing. They were choc, double choc and plain muffins.
She bought her tier stand from ebay (cant remember how much), then i borrowed it for mine and my aunt-in-law (?!) filled them with rice crispy cakes, corn flake cakes and choc muffins in gold fairy cases. She then dotted a few gerberas (only wedding flower we had) and it looked fab! Reckon it would have cost a fortune 'professionally'.
