Laminate flooring

I have recently had my bedroom laminated. Could someone tell me what to clean it with please?

I get a cheap floor mop cost £1 at a poundshop. Its the type uyou fit soft paper cloths on to sweep floor. Occasional I get the wet wipes that smell nice with a quick wipe. There about a quid in Morrions, there the cheapo brand they do.
  • Poundland also do a laminate floor cleaner as well.
    Cleans floors really well.
  • I have had laminate for about 8 years now and have tried most products. I have personally found the following but its just my opinion..

The 'savers' shop sell a version of cleaner in a spray bottle always left a really awful smell in the room after use.

The mop and wipes became a real pain in the neck and i had to change the wipe many times throughout 1 clean. (and im really not talking a huge amount of space)

There is an excellent LG product made specifically for laminate flooring that if you just use a DRY mop and spray it on the floor is great stuff for quick clean ups..ie..the kids are due to walk in the room any minute!!

But to be perfectly honest, i know its NOT recommended to use water on laminate but if wet the mop so its damp NOT WET and add a squirt of fairy liquid and use that instead you get a great clean and its much cheaper then any other technique i have personally tried. The only thing is obviously you have to allow it a little time to dry before walking on it (5 mins max) so do it when your home alone
