Supply and demand. Apple will always keep supply down to create exclusivity and demand. Best deal will probably at the Apple Refurb store, they wont sell it to anyone else for a price that they can be undercut at the refurb store often have 30% discounts on 'as new' items, definately worth checking out as the offers change.

i checked there out, but there only the first gen ones so far, i check everyday ujust in case.
i dont want to order one right away within the next 5 weeks would be perfect so ive got some time to look around, thansk for all your help
