depends on how you measure intelligence.
Does it depend on how you measure intelligence? Surely, however you measure it, half the people are below the average and half above. Actually that depends on the shape of the distribution, but in nature the bell curve nearly always applies. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Yeah, half the people are below average intelligence, height, etc. as it's a normal distribution. I'm dead clever me. Innit.0

Ah, one from the lower half.....
It doesn't depend on the measurement at all.
It does depend on the distribution, but basically speaking, exactly half of the population will be above and half below average. If everyone were above average, the average would move up.0 -
One thing i hate in Advertising of any sort..& particularly thoes outside new blocks of flats, are all the Pictures of couples etc with big grins Hugging each other.. ..& yeah, shared ownership is SXXXE !!! dont be conned !!
Didn't you know? If you buy one of these SO flats, you get a good-looking and wealthy partner thrown in, and a couple of years later, some beautiful, talented, clever children and a nice car. Part of the package!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Where i work you also have the danger of a criminal family moving in next door to you.
To be fair, that could happen anywhere, though....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
