No Claims Discount on Second Car?

I've just bought a new car and need to get it insured. It's got 7 day free insurance so that gives me a few days in order to sort out the insurance.
I've still got my old car, which I'm keeping at the moment, as I'm not sure what I want to do with it first. The policy on this car is valid till the end of December and I have used my NCD on it.
Does anyone know if there are companies out there who would allow me to use my NCD on both cars?
Or where it doesn't make much difference in the premium if I don't have a NCD?
Thanks for any help.

Only the insurer of your current car would be likely to 'match' your NCB on your 2nd car.0

I rang my current insurer (Prudential) and as I won't be using my old car, they can transfer the insurance to my new car for £36.75 till the end of the year.
Bearing in mind that the cheapest new quote I could get without using my NCD was £300.00 (for a year).
Result!!
