  • Just search for ppStream - it's easy to find.

It works fine for me, but I don't know what any of the channels are. Gonna be trial and error! Still kinda cool though.

give lots and you will always recieve lots
  • PPStream is a bit juddery due to buffering, pplive delivers much better quality and is the current player of choice since the demise of coolstreaming.

https://www.freefootball.uk.tt has an excellent forum full of advice and pioneer spirit. There is a superb newbie guide that will get you up and running. On first sight it looks rather complicated and you have to put some time in with trial and error to gain the skills needed to find the match you want. However a competent pc user should be able to find what they want after a while.

Matches have a delay of around 3 minutes so the radio is no use for commentary. You need to use the latest realplayer and listen online. Realplayer allows you to pause live streamed audio and you can soon learn how to synchranise this.

The picture quality is nowhere near sky but is quite watchable especially as you can get the Saturday 3.00pm kick offs and many more matches than Sky offer. On a successful weekend you can watch 5 to 6 matches, although the commentary is harder to come by. I personally subscribe to my teams webcast commentary and open that in Realplayer. So far this season I have watched about 60% of their games successfully. If you support one of the 'big' teams you can pretty much rely on watching all of their games.

There is also a 24/7 James Bond channel where the films are streamed in English with chinese subs, the quality of this is very impressive.

Best thing to do is be organised and download all of the required software in advance, put the links to listings in your favourites and start your streaming about half an hour before kick off as they can take a while to settle in.

Sit back and cancel your Sky subscription, saves me £43 a month.

    Percivere, it works.

I allegedly use pplive, get it from https://www.pplive.com

you need to change the language to english and then there is a short download

it works on the P2P basis, ie the more people are watching, the smoother it works

you will get an icon on your start bar, which if you right click on you can switch language to English and then pick your channel

    enjoy
