Hi everyone! I'm a student who is doing a project on Tesco.com, I am looking for anyone who uses this site reguarly to help me with some questions!!
How often do you shop at Tesco.com?
Would you be interested in Tesco offering its clothing range online?
If you don't shop on Tesco.com, would you still be interested in buying their clothes online if it was available?
Thanks everyone! of course, you can save money by buying tesco clothes as they are so cheap!!!

Yes, definately.
Or, at least, view what their range is online and then go instore to check quality and fitting etc.0 -
Thanks for that! I think its strange that Tesco doesn't already offer this service, maybe I can change its mind! We're all pawns in the game of life!!0

It would be good if you purchase their clothes online.
I'd definatly be interested! Currently only shop on Tesco.com for Cd's/DVD's0 -
I have never shopped at tesco.com mainly because they don't deliver (food shopping) to where I live, I would be interested in buying clothes online, but wouldn't they be a bit more expensive paying for delivery on top of the actual price? Because if you can get a £3 vest will you be prepared to spend an extra £3 or more on it being delivered making it £6 in total? How much would it actually cost Tesco to setup their online clothing ordering service? Are all Tesco clothes actually made by Tesco? Or do they stock other brands which could cause copyright/legal issues with other online retailers? Example would be Tesco selling Levi jeans for £30 a pair online, whilst the official Levi's website sell the jeans for £38 a pair. Levi's wouldn't be happy with Tesco for under cutting them on price (especially when they provide them with the jeans) and they might make a contract between them that Tesco cannot sell their clothes online and only in stores, so this won't have a dramatic affect on online sales for Levi's.!"£$%^&*()0

Yes the problem with delivery charges does make it more expensive, however I think if people were doing their grocery shopping anyway then they could get their money's worth by buying everything together, which saves them time as well.
As for Levi's, I suppose this could be a problem! but was there not a ruling that Tesco can no longer sell cheaper Levis? We're all pawns in the game of life!!0 -
Yea including the clothes with the grocery shopping could work! I'm not sure on Tesco's policies with Levi's or other brands but these are things you could research and bring up in your project maybe?!"£$%^&*()0

YES YES YES
Tesco range of clothing, especially Cherokee and Florence and Fred are brilliant. The design and pricing of the clothes are an excellent reflection of whats hip and trendy on the catwalks at a fraction of the price.
Too bad that customers can only buy clothes at large Tesco stores when you offer some good value clothes items too.
Your clothing sales are good value and it should be made available online. This wopuld certainly be a very lucrative arm for Tesco as they have only ever had positive press for their clothing range.
I would certainly shop for Florence and Fred clothing online along with my weekly shopping. And living in the centre of london where buying cheap but good value clothes is very difficult! I have to go to Reading which is a bit of a trek!
Bring on the online clothing dept for Tescos! You have one customer!Lovin Boots and other bargainous places!0 -
I work for Tesco, though have never used their Tesco.com service. I have used (and was very impressed with) Sainsbury's SainsburysToYou service. (Sainsburys, incidentally, do sell clothing on their website - would be interesting to find out how successful this is).
Personally, I doubt that I would buy clothes online. I think if I were buying clothes, I would want to see them in a store, to have a feel of the material, etc, rather than buying them online.0
