Ooh well done. Which creditor was it? Had you just been paying token payments? I am currently waiting to hear back about some 10% offers. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Letter came through today accepting that, so rang, paid, and have confirmation that account will be partially satisfied within 50 days.
Happy enough with that result.0 -

I settled one with them last year, they are very good at accepting F&F offers by the sound of it, although I didn't quite get such a good deal as you. We have now been paying £1 on a lot of ours, so hoping to get some more settled soon. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Aye I have a few more with them that I’m paying £1 towards. Lady on phone said to give it a couple of months then send in some more letters if I could afford it.
As DCA go, they don’t seem too bad haha.0 -

Although not F&F I have an account I’ve been keeping my eye on for last two years since I decided to get act together. Last payment to them was in Jan 2013, so get through this month and statute barred. Been checking and no court proceedings have come forward or anything. So literally sit on hands and wait. That’s for £4600. That’ll be nice knowing that has gone.0

Wow, excellent. Did they say it was UE then? Is that why you stopped paying? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Nope stopped paying when It all got on top and withdrew from everything, and when all other creditors started contacting me they didn’t. So I started paying other creditors and sorting them out as they were the ones bugging me at that time. They’ve just never contacted me.... so I haven’t bothered to chase them, that’s not my job haha.0 -
