either that I can print out all the comments anon, and drive down there tomorrow
and stuff them in a managers face.........
P.S Orange is absolutely Rubbish at Cust Serv
That would be brilliant to watch!!! hehe
Just to state another point, I am an Orange and O2 Customer and it is my point of view that I consider O2 to be the better network. I've been with them for ages and although I've had a few glitches I've had excellent customer service....However there may be others who are the opposite and have had bad customer service but as i've said in the above post its that individuals right to advertise the fact that they have had bad customer service and this is what i'm doing.0 -
I have not dealt with Vodafone CS, except to register a payg SIM a couple of weeks ago, but would put Orange above the other main networks, with 3 second and T-mobile last.0

Slightly off topic here, but does anyone want to comment on 3's Customer Services that are based in India?
This idea of companies saving money by transfering customer contact centres abroad really annoys me. Ok, the operators in India speak English but does anyone find it difficult to understand them or them understand you.
The same can be said for Onetel who's customer service is in India.0 -
I had an incredible conversation with a Voda rep the other day....
There was a thread on this site about 2weeks ago with a link where
you could order 2 free sim cards direct from Vodafone shop,
well I had an old phone which I gave to my dad and then inserted one of the
free sims then registered it for him, The rep told me about an offer of 1 sim
at £1.99, I told him im not bothered as I got 2 free sims of Voda Shop site..
And for about 10mins he was basically calling me a liar saying that it must of been one
from ebay then repackaged, this Pr*ck just wouldnt listen, by the end of the call
I wanted to drive to Vodafone and smash his face in....
In saying that im only with Voda because every other Provider I get a bad signal with
I mean whats the point in having a bad signal, might aswell chuck the phone away.
Im on PAYG and I hate the fact I get charged 25p for some muppet who cant
answer my question, so now I always ask for a refund if they cant answer my
question, so far they have paid me back £4.50 some because I didnt get the answer
to my question and the rest because I dug my heels in.
I have no loyalty to any of these rip off merchants.0 -

This is another very good point!! Why do all the mobile phone companies charge to speak to their customer services when on PAYG.
Its a rip off!!
Like Mr Skint says he asks for a refund if they can't help. So would I, why pay for a service when there is no service.0 -
I feel obliged to mention that I have had mainly good CS from Orange but that was because I had a series of difficulties that meeant I ended up on first name terms (so to speak) with a team leader who quite simply could not have been better.
Unfortunately he has now relocated overseas so I am awaiting with dread my next need to contact after what I've read here. However I agree with an earlier posting that starting off calm probably helps.................!0 -
for Vodafone, ring the CS from your landline to their landline number using 1899 for 3p0

Better still read the manual, and watch phone forums......
Unless you havent paid a bill or credit hasnt gone on there shouldnt really be much need to speak to them, its about educating ones self..
And yes I have now learnt my lesson.
Oh and if Voda are watching this, No I dont want to change my tarriff
so stop texting me, as thats unsolicited text messaging and I reckon
TPS will be having a word shortly....0 -
Matrix,
Your problems with Orange sound very familiar to mine. If customer services can't sort your problem out they just don't want to know.
I had no caller ID display on a new (upgrade) PAYG Orange phone bought from an Orange shop. The shop would'nt exchange the phone without a fault reference code from Orange Technical Services. After three weeks of waiting for fault reference code, Orange said they could'nt sort the problem out but still refused to replace my phone!
Took them to the Small Claims County Court (very easy to do now online) and got my full money back.0
