Alliance Trust SIPP - changes

Options
As from 1st September 2008, Alliance Trust have increased their fund range to more than 3000 funds (oddly not including Invesco Perpetual at the moment) and changed their charges for the Select SIPP. They now rebate all commission including part of the AMC.

Main charges excluding VAT are:
£50 Transfer in
£75 AMC
£125 Annuity purchase
£12-50 dealing (I assume this applies to fund switches as well as share dealing)

Income drawdown:
£200 set up
£100 GAD calculation
£10 to change amount of income

So, a few extras but the big plus seems to be the AMC fund-based rebate. So with a value of £100,000 and an average rebate of 0.5%, the investor gets £500 rebated p.a. which should be more than enough to cover the transfer in and the odd switch and other charges.

So it looks pretty good to me compared with HL or Sippdeal or am I missing something?

Any opinions?
