Barclays have just sent me a cheque

I recieved a cheque from Barclays today for £51 from a loan that finished in 1999! apparently they owed me a refund on my payment protection.

What a nice surprise!

    Did they say why the cheque was a little late.
    Perhaps they need not have sent in under the 6 year rule.

    That's so nice of them...... how much interest are you going to charge them? What about late payment fees? LOL
