Littlewoods to change to Primark!

All Litlewoods stores are said to be changing to Primark, as we all know they have closed down or are in the process of, and currently offer 20% off everything.
I asked a woman at my local Littlewoods in Liverpool that is closing down and she said that Primark will be coming to Liverpool in November 2006, hurray because I have to go to Manchester to go to Primark.

Indeed. However not all Littlewoods will be becoming Primark.
40 stores will convert to Primark, the other 80 will be sold off.0 -
Robb, you can go to Birkenhead to Primark, much closer than Manchester to Liverpool!

Birkenhead and Liscard are much nearer........but Manchester store is so much bigger, with a lot more choice.0

Primark are merely buying some of the Littlewoods premises, Littlewoods themselves will go entirely.

I went into our Littlewoods today and had a look at the Christmas stuff, most of it was only 10% off, and I am sure that some of it was part of a two for..... deal before it became 10% off. We already have a Primark, so one or the other will probably close down.Quidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j0

I went to Primark in Birkenhead today, I thought it was ok acutally, picked up three t-shirts and a paid of jeans for £25.

Yes they are selling 40 of them off apparently, it would be stupid to have two Primarks together. Although when I went to Birkenhead I saw two savers almost directly opposite one another, very strange.
