Re hfc and ppi
I have been trying to reclaim ppi from a loan with hfc i took out in 2002 and stopped paying said loan injan 08 as i believe they owe me more than i owe them. i have just refered it to the fos. but have recieved a stat demand leading to insolvency. and a bill including an extra 2k of cost ... help should i set up a payment plan with them or fight it and risk bankrupcy .. p.s. with the payment plan it would include an extra 2k and also they want to put a interst on my house..
help pplease asap.

HFC have recently been fined by the FSA for mis-selling PPI, so this may strengthen your fight!

hi The F.o.s are invetigating now and the solicitors have put the stat demand on hold.. fingers cross anyone else been through this ...
