Hi
Ive got a new mobile, and im trying to pay my 14 pound bill right now, but its one day late, and they say it will be marked on my credit file as a missed payment!
Ive got a contract to sign and send back, WHICH I HAVNT YET! So i have not signed and agreed for anything to be marked on my credit file, im FURIOUS!
Can they do this even if i pay the bill right now???
Thanks
Matt

doubt thats true. i work for a credit card company and we only send info to experian at the end of the month. so lets say you fall behind on the 19th of the month, but you bring your account up to date on the 25th. the files get sent to experian showing your account was up to date for that month. whether or not this how every company does it, i couldnt say for definite. as far as im aware we have to pay for experians service, so i reckon it would be pretty expensive sending info to experian on a daily basis0
