Advice...

Hi,

I'm a regular MSE viewer, just never posted before..

I have a current loan over 5 years @12.9% APR started last october (07) and my repayments are £152 pm..

I got the loan to consolidate some existing debts on CC's and to enjoy myself a little bit as was 2/3's of the way through my Gas apprenticeship, I'm now fully qualified and earning half decent money, I'm looking at clearing the loan within a year but I'm not totally sure I'd get accepted for a decent rate on a loan, or if accepted at all..

I had 2 credit cards at the start of the year and have paid both of them off now (£3000) I have worked out that I could probably spare around £500 a month as currently still live with parents.

Does anyone know of any companies who would lend over a perod of about 9 months to clear the loan at a decent rate? currently have a settlement figure of £5900.

using the smartsearch on Moneysupermarket I get "needs improvement" and these loans are at extortionate rates.

Any suggestions/advice would be much appreciated!

Richard
