Yay!!! So after sending the above letter I got a reply from Red/Lowell saying that their client had made a commercial decision blah blah blah. But they said they will remove the default, and the default has been removed :j :j :j
I have legitimate defaults on my file which is fair enough and they are settled. It just really peeves me off that a false one can be put there!!!0 -
well done to you. I have just noticed the exact same thing on a previously perfect credit report so I'm just about to go after these fu**ers with the same info as you had.
I can't believe they can attempt this, some people will just role over and pay. I don't owe anyone a bean and can prove it. I've better things to do.
Thanks, and glad I found your letters, which I'll now plagerise. Also well done and getting it sorted. They're after me for £14.11 pence and have put a default on my account. The account closed with £0 balance may 2003. Dicks0
