Is cash gifting legal???

I believe in gifting cash and some friends have invited me into a community which works on the principle of gift it forward. How can I know that this network concept is permitted by law and gaining prosperity via this medium is legal?

It sounds like a pyramid scheme. I doubt if it is actually illegal but almost certainly more than a little risky!

whilst totally legal as everyone will sign to say any monies they pass on are a gift (ie non-recoverable)its a con mate search google.

Yes.No doubt it is legal. According to me cash gifting is the most effective and easiest legal way to earn from home. Also it is saves you lot of time to spend with family...Keep going...You'll definitely succeed. There is provision in law for earning through internet.

You can read the exact law here:

The important part reads:

"A person commits an offence if he-

(a) invites another to join a chain-gift scheme, or
(b) knowingly participates in the promotion, administration or management of a chain-gift scheme."

Anyone who is actively inviting people to join such a scheme in the UK is committing an offence.

The punishment in England or Wales is a large fine (I believe up to £5,000) and/or up to 51 weeks in jail. In Scotland and Northern Ireland the maximum jail time is slightly less at 6 months although the fine is the same.

Is this spam? 1 newbie asking the question, and then another newbie answering saying is legal when it isn't and is the best way to make money and will succeed, when it clearly isn't, and you will not succeed, only lose money!

Possibly, it does seem a bit like a tag team PR operation especially with the fact that the second one had the link to the scam...

This kind of thing goes on all the time though, the same for reviews on websites often they add fake reviews sadly - it's more effective for pure PR rather than marketing than spambots, especially when there's lots of bad reviews to whitewash out with fake praise
