I have received my Nero6 CD, so that makes it 4 out of 5 goods ordered that have arrived.

I would imagine that there are similar stories from all on-line shops. I will still buy freebies from Savapoint as I can only lose £3 but other items seem rather expensive. When my card reader did not arrive I found it cheaper elsewhere.

I too have had a very bad experience with Savapoint.  Ordered a midpriced item, they then sent me the cheap and nasty version they had on the site (for less than half the money - without refunding the difference) and when I complained asked 'what was my problem? It does the job' !!

Took me over 4 months, several letters (they do not respond to emails) and the help of Visa to get my money back after I had returned it.  Terrible customer service.

The £2.99 offer is only worthwhile if you are ordering something you really want and will use - because a lot of this software is as old as the hills - but NEVER be tempted to place a proper order with them - unless you enjoy the hassle!
