Marillion To Offer New Album On Free Download Plus Win £5000!

According to The BBC Marillion are going to be the latest band to offer their new album for free online. The album titled Happiness is the Road, their 15th in total, will be available via file sharing sites. The official launch day for the new album is the 20th October. As well as the chance to get a free album Marillion are also offering a new song for free and a £5000 prize in a competition.
All you have to do is download the song Whatever is Wrong With You - then use it as the soundtrack to your own video. You’ll then need to upload it to YouTube. Then on December 1st 2008 the video with the most views will win the £5000 cash Grand Prize - it’s that simple. In addition, Marillion will pick their favourite entry for another £5000 cash Spot Prize.

Marillion still sound excellent - I'm going to see them on tour in November! :T

They are giving away two lots of £5000 grand in their Whatever is Wrong with You competition - one lot is for the most views of video and one for their favourite video, although the same video can potentially win both prizes!

I am going to Bournemouth in November and to the Marillion Weekend in Holland in March http://www.marillionweekend.com/, the last one was so good I had to go again! (See youtube for the Hocus Pocus cover!)

I am a sad man - am doing all the UK tour apart from Bournemouth, then off to Holland for that leg, and then off to Holland again in March for the weekend and finally off to Montreal for that weekend as well.

I need a cheaper hobby :-)
