Got the grampian 2x chicken breasts in a mushroom sauce in the freezer compartment, was £2.49 for 49p

Went shopping at Tesco in Reading and was there for 2hrs, couldn't find any bargains in the frozen food department but did find pretty pink wedding wrapping paper for .29 and set of 3 pastel candles in glass holders for .73p, (they have a mother's day sticker on the box but you can peel it off easily) and I got a cordless kettle for £5.67 which I thought was a good price, also got a a little glass vase with pretend water & tulips in for 0.71.

Found in Tesco Ashby de la Zouch - Tesco Finest Peach and Raspberry Pavlova reduced from £3.99 to £1.00.

Mivvi ice cream is still available for 49p a tub.

Spotted it instore (St Rollox in Glasgow) yesterday priced at £2.49 on shelf. Asked the checkout assistant to check the price and it scanned at 49p.

I thought that most bigger stores had a couple of bar code readers dotted around the stores.

My local one has two one based in fashion and one by the biccies.

Just thought I would mention it just in case any one is to shy to ask someone to scan it for them. Like me. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At Broughton Tesco I noticed that amongst the frozen veggie ready meals Linda MCarthy the lasgners were in two different boxes and the yellow shelf edge ticket said reduced to 99p. There were some boxes with the Kumala wine offer (4 tokens gets you a voucher for a free bottle worth £5, no limit on entries, see the website for full details).

Glad to have found a bargain for someone. Sadly our little local store does not stock them.

Send off your four wine tokens ASAP. I seem now to be on the Linda McC mailing list and they have sent me two prize draws, one for a barbecue and one for 52 bottle of Kumala. Also a plastic scraper and two £1 vouchers!
