Help - going to wedding on Saturday and skint....

Hi everyone

Wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what I can get someone for a wedding gift. I am slightly skint and therefore haven't got much money.

I'm only going to the reception and I know the bride who is a girl that I work with.

Thanks in advance

  • If you are skint then I wouldn't spend lots. What about a bottle of wine with a nice note about them enjoying it as newly weds? If you get a good deal from a supermarket of whatever then should only cost you around a fiver? Also personal if you put a nice note with it??

Thanks for that. Hadn't really thought of giving them a bottle in a nice gift bag or something. I know that they do like wine too. I've also got a £1.50 voucher for Tesco so will cost me even less.

One present we loved was a bottle of champagne (Tesco Cava is also very good) and some bath candles so that we would have a romantic bath together :D
