Computer guy in Perth - anyone got a recommendation?

I've done something really stupid to my PC and I've lost all my emails and my directories - I've tried posting on the techie board but I can't understand waht they're telling me to do!

I also need to move my PC onto a new desk, and haven't the vaguest idea about what bits go where. So, can anyone recommend a decent computer technician guy that would be able to help me - or anyone in the Perth area want to come to my assistance for a reasonable fee!

Hi there can recommend Strathmore Computers in Leslie Street Blairgowrie - not sure of their number but they are in the local phone book. I have used her both for personal use and for business. Cost is very reasonable and she comes either to your premises or you can drop things off to her. Hope this helps. There is also a new chap up in Rattray, next to the social work offices but I cannot give any recommendations as I havent used this company. Good luck! From your name I presume you stay in or near Alyth and that is where the Strathmore Computer lady stays (dont want to put her name on here) so I am sure she would be able to help you out.

cheers Suzy, never actually thought of trying anyone in Blair, and I used to live in Alyth, hence the name! I'll give her a shout as it's driving me nuts as someone managed to move my PC for me but I still can't get my emails! Actualy, I used to work right next door to Strathmore Computers, just came back to me who they were!

I also know exactly where you're talking about with the guy next to the social work office, next to the dog grooming place.

Hope strathmore was able to help you - I find you are sometimes better off dealing with a company from outside Perth or Dundee as they are more reasonable priced and reputation means a lot to them. I know she does go to Perth as she done work for my daughter in Perth.
