Yeah I got some in Tesco. They look good. Haven't tried them out on kids as they are for Christmas. The thing that appeals to me is that baby in washable nappies will not have to move around in really long legged trousers for a change.

The Next ones are a godsend. My twins are both short in the leg and the Next ones can be made really small in the waist using the adjustable strap but yet lose nearly nothing in the leg

  • Useful thread. My 2.5 year old is almost too tall for age 2-3 stuff, but the same size is massive round the waist. So sick of seeing her builders bum cleavage hanging out of the top of her trousers, she's been in age 1.5-2 skirts and tights for ages. Will go and check out the shops later.
  • Pumpkin patch and Tescos had some boys jeans with adjustable elastic inside.
My son (7) has a small waist but long legs and they fit him really well.

  • Gap's the place for adjustable waist stuff. I've got a tall, skinny 6 year old & a rather chunky 3 year old, but I can usually find something to fit both of them in there.

Next do them, but I'm sure La-redoute or Vertbaudet do these as well.

osh kosh do adjustable waists too.
  • I agree with bargainaholic, Gap are a god send for their adjustable waists, and they always seem to have a good sale rail in our local ipswich branch.
