How do you get advance knowledge of £5 Tesco voucher NOTW?

When my husband went to get the Sunday paper, he noticed, by pure chance, that the News of the World had a Tesco £5 voucher on a £30 spend.

As I had wept bitterly when I missed this the other week, he bought 4 copies this time!

But is there any way of knowing when a newspaper is going to publish this type of voucher, or any other? Often, for example, the Express, on a Saturday, will have a Superdrug voucher for a free something, that can only be used on that day.

Any help would be appreciated - thank you.

I just check the new newspaper thread on this board, started every day by Quoia. Most good MOCs are posted on the daily thread by 10am, usually much earlier by nudge and other very reliable posters on MSE.

It's what the newspaper thread is all about, we don't discuss the days headlines, lol!

Seriously, it's a good habit to get into to check the newspaper thread before shopping, if you like to use coupons. No point giving you a link to today's one, as it changes each day for a new one but you can always find it if you search 'newspaper' or simply look at the Discount Codes & Vouchers pages (or even just look at quoia's recent posts).

I'm very new to all this, but my friend and I, both pensioners, have had the most amazing days out since I signed up for Martin's weekly email. We travel on our Freedom Passes to Waterloo, get Megatrain tickets to places such as Southampton for £1 each way. Then we swan around the area, using our bus passes, and have had great 2 for 1 lunches at Zizzis, £5 off at the Slug & Lettuce, etc, free coffee at the station with Burger King, and 20% discount, off our food, with our Bite cards!

We've seen nearly all the London shows for about £20, for the best seats, by arriving an hour before the matinee and pleading for anything. And whilst we're out, we're saving on the heating bills!

You've got to have your wits about you, and you can be sure I'll follow your advice on the newspaper thread.
