Unregulated Lease Purchase Vehicle
My catering company started up last year and we bought what should have been a state-of-the-art vehicle on an unregulated lease purchase. However, we later found out that the vehicle had many problems and was half a ton over its Maximum authorised mass. We took it up with the manufacturer who admitted the faults and agreed to fix the problems. However half way through the job they went bust.
We now have a vehicle that is unusable and the lease company saying it has nothing to do with them and money fast running out. What are our rights as far as the lease goes?
