Thanks. I think the negative responses are towards Ken Culley's comments rather than my own as I only emailed them yesterday and I don't think those who are complaining that they have already paid Stamp Duty on buying as FTBs, have realised that they would be paying less Stamp Duty on moving up.
For those who haven't seen the articles, this appeared in Mortgage Introducer Magazine online yesterday. http://www.mortgageintroducer.com/ccstory/231513/219/Call_for_change_to_Stamp_Duty_on_sales.htm
And this was my response when I pointed out that it was a blatant rip off of my comments on here on 5th August and that the former Chief Exec of the Portman B/S needs to think for himself!

Did they give you anything BTW?
I wrote in and was published in March and won an iPod shuffle

That would be nice but there's been no mention of any prize. I've won a PSP and a Christmas Hamper from Mortgage Strategy in the past so lets see if they can beat them with a holiday to Florida:DI am a Mortgage Consultant and don't like to be told what I can and can't put in a signature so long as it's legal and truthful.0
