Begs the question. Why not reduce the price of the house in Milford? Its what a buyer really wants, not gimmicks0
-
if he reduces each house by 70k - knock on effect, people who just paid full price in that development have lost 70k and are in negative equity right away.......roll that out across the region, house prices fall steeply........etc etc......plus taking a tax hit in Bulgaria may be more
advantageous than Ireland, cashflow wise he may need the cash here not over there.............same as the guys giving cars away, they don't reduce the price because of the market effect............I think......Norn Iron Club Member #64

Is this a sneaky advert??
I expect the builder has apartments in Bulgaria to offload so he adds the cost on to the Donegal house, thereby shifting two houses instead of one.
I couldn't see the cost of the Donegal houses. If they are less than 100k euro it could be a good deal.
Whatever way you look at it the apartment isn't free. Nothing is free.Stercus accidit0 -
It says on the website that they start at 210,000 Euro.0

Nope, I don't have a clue about the market in Donegal. Still, I know what's affordable and what's just daft.Stercus accidit0

Bulgaria not exactly the greatest place to have property at the minute.
A lot of people trying to get out and not many buying.
A lot of deposits just being written off. lately..0 -
Also, even if you get it for nothing there will still be mantainence charges, insurance and local taxes ongoing0
