Okay can you please explain what this is about as it is not apparent to me I am new here.

IS this a show I need to be watching on 17 September at 7.30 on FIVE?

  • Assuming you understand the general jist (gist?) of the site:

The TV show is a way for Martin (that guy at the top left) to bring money saving ideas to a greater audience.

There's usually one main topic each week that he guides you through the process of using guniea pigs in the audience. I would guess utility bills and how to cut costs/keep them down will be one of the first ones this series given the current price rises.

Alongside the main topic they give us the a quick briefing on the latest offers available (eg new vouchers for pizzahut) and any changes to the "best buy" products (ie new credit cards with better BT offers).

They also have a celebrity guest each week that has their wallet rifled through and Martin tells them off for wasting all their money. To be honest that started to wear a bit thin at the end of the last series as pretty much everybody was getting told the same things. It might be more interesting to this series to do it as a pre-filmed "man on the street" excercise.
