To celebrate British Food Fortnight, Forman & Field are holding an Open Day on 4th October 2008, at their London smokehouse and restaurant.
There will be live cooking and preparation demonstrations from Forman & Field chefs as well as food heroes Neal’s Yard Dairy and Farmer Sharp throughout the afternoon. There will also be tours of the smokehouse explaining how they make their unique ‘London Cure’ smoked salmon, tastings of gourmet products, stalls from the producers demonstrating and plenty to eat and drink on the day! The smokehouse is on the bank of the River Lee overlooking the London 2012 stadium development so it’s also a great chance to have a spy at how preparations for the Olympics are coming along.
