When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Hi to any new posters and a big shout to the usual gang.:j
Today I have/will do
-Three mystery shops
-Go to work
-Go to induction evening for my counselling course
-Write up mystery shopping reports
-Read some of counseling book

Have a great day everyone and catch up with you all later.

HI Guys
Fallen off the wagon a bit as have visitors in the house and thoroughly depressed that I managed to spend 40 quid in mr tescos on what I am not sure - nice juices etc - argh, we were doing so well.
Today
low wash on and hang up to dry
pals making tea so that will be yummy and their treat
finally moved so can now cut down on petrol
taking old sofa to upholster later and haggle about price (i hope)
Meeting a pal for lunch so will have soup (lovely filling and cheap)
Waiting for my eco toaster to arrive (shameful spending but with cash back)
Pick some fruit and veg from garden
Do some work
Plant some winter bedding!
Think about ebay/farmers market for plant selling
Been getting a bit down and muddled about everything as house moving it seems isnt conjusive to not spending.
Anyone got any spare enthusiasm?!
