Arctic Roll - remember it? Who sells it?

Tried M&S, Sainsburys, Tesco, Iceland, Spar, Co-op ... to no avail. I know someone somewhere must stock it!

We're in the South East (managed quite easily to buy some in Lancashire a few weeks back.)

Roulade, btw, is not a suitable substitute! (And I dont' really want to faff around making one myself before someone sends me a recipe!)

Thanks in advance!!

  • I would have a closer look in Tesco if I was you....they make an own-brand Arctic roll (exactly the same as the 'classic' version). I know this because I've bought it several times, including last week at the tiny Tesco's branch in Kilmarnock (so bigger stores are bound to have it). If I remember correctly, the box contains two and costs either £1.49 0r £1.

I'd also look more closely in Sainsbury's, they also do their own branded one that ive had a few times :) I am also in the SE, so know it's not a northern thing! Similar price to Tesco's too...

I spent 20 minutes in that frozen aisle the other day, they certainly don't sell it in my local one, but thanks anyway!

Thanks but I'd rather just go out and buy one as per original post.

Thanks very much! That's got me drooling! However, I am on a mission now and I'm not going to give in by making one ... surely there's one out there somewhere!!! Am off to find nearest farm foods and devise convoluted reason as to why I need to go there, it must be near a park or something ...
