Buying from EU incurs no customs duty
on avforums lots of people have purchased av
amps from germany.I purchased a yamaha av receiver
with a 24 month guarantee.
For USA.
Have a look at international -orders for US shopping I never tried them yet as my credit card didnt seem to work.Well I tried to use them purchasing from overstock.com. but there seemed to be some problem so I gave up.
You order the item and they charge you shipping and customs etc.

I haven't read the thread so forgive me if it's already been mentioned but I use https://www.shopthestates.com regularly (ok, far too much ) and they are brilliant. They give you a USA address which you use as the delivery address when you order. STS then forward the package to you for $5.
They also have a buying service for the sites that don't accept UK credit cards. But it's worthwhile checking that another site that does accept UK cards doesn't have the item (for instance sephora, dont accept UK cards, but amazon.com has a sephora that does accept UK cards)

Atlast some alternatives to buying from the uk!!, i was looking for clothes for the little ones, did post elsewhere on this board, but got no response.....anyways, careful_shopper, could you please let us have the link for where you bought your comforter set. They cost an absolute fortune here & I really wanted some , thanks to all that have contributed here!
