Does anyone know of anywhere that sells cheapish treadmills, or somewhere that hires them out. If I was buying I'd probably need finance.
Im in Durham, North East.
Any help muchly appriciated!

How sophisticated do you need it to be? There's been many given away on Freecycle.It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0

If you are wanting a fancy pants one I'd reccomend ebay - I got a £1400 one for £300. Its the sort of thing people buy 'with good intentions', barely use and then as it takes up soo much space are eager to get rid of. If you can collect so much the better as many people can't0

As long as it helps me shift some fat I'd be happy. I'm off to have a look on Free Cycle.
I've checked Ebay but there was nothing local enough to collect.
Thanks for both your responses.Fantastic Expectations Amazing Revelations0 -
Hi, I got mine from here a couple of years ago

I purchased a refurb and it is still going strong (you still get a 12 month guarantee). Not sure where you live but the factory shop is in Daventry Northants (just off the M1) so you can go for a look before you buy. They deliver too for free!0 -
Really worth holding out and looking for something more local on e-bay, looks like good guide on here;

I had one 100 mile roundtrip to Coventry for a wrongly advertised poor one then picked up a trimline one for £200 locally, best thing is still using all the time and could sell on for same money, can't get money back from the gym if decide have had enough!!0 -
Sorry,
Meant to add that despite warranties quoted as not transferrable between owners on some equipment it should show how much confidence a manufacturer shows in their product if offering to cover motors for 10 years plus as opposed to the 12-24 mths offered by some!!0 -
I bought mine from Ebuyer at £29.99 and i found it more than adequet for excersing. it is not motorized treadmill but has a magnetic resistance. at the time Ebuyer had a offer of free postage.0

I have got a few on watch on Ebay, just a little worried about transporting them. I dont know what the liklihood of fitting one in a Ford Focus is!?
Looking on Ebay I've also managed to bag myself a gravity trainer/cross trainer for £30, looks in good nick too! Collecting it on Saturday.
Does anyone know the wesbite for freecycle? I only find a link for a Yahoo group?Fantastic Expectations Amazing Revelations0 -

From there links to your local Freecycle group - they are run using Yahoo Groups.It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc...
