Hi, we've bought this one two weeks ago for my son's room. his bedroom is in the garage conversion so it is exposed on two sides and has a garage (no heating) and a utility room (always freezing) surrounding it.
We bought it because it takes such a long time for our central heating to warm up his room.
I can honestly say it has been a godsend.
It heats up in next to no time and he has never had the setting on more than medium and it still warms the room nicely. We have even swiched his radiators off!
The only thing it didn't have was a timer. But to be honest, we weighed up the cost of one with a timer against just buying one of these (which let's be honest, does exactly the same thing) and obviously went for the latter option
Great buy all round.
Hope this helps.Tried and Tested0 -
My Mum bought this one @19.99, but unfortunately its out of stock at the moment, but it just shows how inexpensive you can find them if you shop around.0

I bought mine from Argos - a bit more expensive than £19.99 but it's 1Kw instead of 700w.
I use it to keep the chill off my campervan.0 -
i have just bought one from B&Q £14.99 but this is only 500w enough to take the chill off the shed where the dogs sleep and it costs no more than 3p an hour.spanky xx
