How do LambdaTek get away with it???

Hi all

I have been recently checking out some shopbots for a cheap laptop. I tend to use Pricerunner.

When I did some searches, many of the laptops I was interested in had a company called LambdaTek as its cheapest supplier. However, there was no click through to their website. Instead, when I went direct to their website to find the laptop I was interested in, in every case the price quoted on Pricerunner was excluding VAT. All the other suppliers on Pricerunner quote their prices including VAT.

So how do Lambdatek get away with it and, why do none of the 53 user reviews of LambdaTek make reference to this con???

Any ideas?

  • I found some HDD at the weekend from LambdaTek that were a good price, went to buy 3 of them and pressed click to buy. Next screen then says the price has gone up and we will change it the next morning on the website. Hence my next click was on closing down the order screen and looking elsewhere.
