Now then fellas,
You blokes are an awkward lot to buy for, you usually say things like: "I'm not bothered 'bout Christmas", or "Its all too commercialised now"
How is that supposed to help us buy you a lovely gift that you really want??
So come on jot down some ideas for us
Cheers

My OH is so easy to buy for. Book cds dvds and amazon send me e-mails every week telling me what he would like (going off what I have bought in the past)

I have the same probs with my husband. I've done a bit of research and bought him for his birthday (couple of days ago....) & a bit of Xmas combined, a SatNav system, it is a Navman ICN 320 from Comet for £169.99. He is v.v.v.pleased with this, it is not as new and fancy as the TomTom ones, but it has a good sized screen, good buttons etc and very easy to use (even I can manage it.) It works a treat and I think you can buy extra software cards for maps if you go abroad.
Comet do the same system on their mail order but if you want quick delivery you have to pay extra. I just popped down to the local store and I think the chap was quite surprised I knew exactly what I wanted! Comet was the cheapest by far for this particular item, some sites claiming to do 'discounted' systems were sometimes as much as £60 more! Anyway. Good luck.

Extras for the computer, bike, magazine subscription, nice underware(for both, not matching) There's lots of things for us awkward men who believe x-mas is far too commercialised.catch220

Book tokens for my DH. He'd rather have them than the books because it gives him a good excuse to slope off to a good bookshop and browse for an hour or two.
But I wish my teenagers would tell me what they'd like!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
and men wonder why socks are sold in gift boxes/tins at this time of year. :rotfl: last year got the OH a shower radio from the science museum range. has a fog free mirror too for shaving, all for 20 pounds.0

I got DH pyjamas and a jumper - I also got a wind up radio and torch from Tesco for £10 but may chicken out of giving this to him as he hates gadgets.
If we have a power cut then may fish this out - once it has proved itself then he may like it"This site is addictive!"
