How Little Have You Spent Today? 17Nov

  • Hi All
So far spent nothing today but the urge to smoke is unbearable.
Still i wont smoke as i have said i'm going to give up just like i told
everyone i want to save money.

So far so good but will get better " i hope " :A

It gets SO much better and so much easier. I've just finished week 6 of quitting and I have no nails left, but I do have fresh breath and the ability to get out of bed without hawking up my lungs. Just remember how smug you'll feel in a couple of weeks when you're inside in the warm and all the people still smoking are standing on doorsteps smoking their cash away in the freezing sleet :)

If you really can't cope, try seeing your GP and asking for some help - mine (who normally regards patients as a nuisance which interferes with his golf) bent over backwards to get me Zyban and telephone counselling.

  • Thanks KatrinaC

I have done it before and i will do it again.

I know it gets easier every day. I must admit i have smoked Once today just before i finished work and i have let myself down but i dont have any more tobacco because what i had left has just been flushed down the toilet.

I dont have any more money until next week now so cant by any. I know the weekend will be hard but hey, no one said it would be easy.

The last time i gave up i felt soo much better ( even if i was coughing up crap for the first few week ) and i know i will feel better for it both in health and in pocket.

    Thanks for your post x
