No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Depends on size, quality, colour (warmth wise) and convenience! I recommend Phillips as good bulbs stocked at John Lewis and IKEA which can be convenient and are about £1 a bulb, but are good quality. Possible to get cheaper at say a supermarket but it can be the price/quality ratio with ESB!
  • Ikea do their own, they are really cheap.
  • Yup I get mine from IKEA. The ones I have in the livingroom, hall and kitchen have been the same three since I moved into this flat over four years ago :)
Debt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:
This time I'm on top of it! We live and learn :coffee:

IKEA don't do there own they are all branded bulbs in IKEA boxes.
  • Lidl, Aldi and Netto. They all do them fairly cheap, and I think they are Phillips branded.

I love animals; I've eaten lots of them :rotfl:

  • Lidl do the philips ones definately under 90p each. These ones have no delay and warm up within a couple of seconds. I have tried loads and these are as good as the best, if not a little bit bigger than most (tall)
Lets get this straight. Say my house is worth £100K, it drops £20K and I complain but I should not complain when I actually pay £200K via a mortgage:rolleyes:

Funny that, a while back I was thinking of going to my local Ikea to get a couple of lightbulbs just to keep them as spare, then about 3 months ago I received 2 Philips energy saving lightbulbs, free, from my electricity supplier. Last week I received another packet, this time from my gas supplier, with four of these Philips lightbulbs. So now I have six spares plus all the others already in use around my home. And all FREE. :rotfl:- Ok, they make a killing on the bills, but still../
