Extra Nectar Points - how do they credit

had a mailing recently from nectar, that had some vouchers for use in sainsburys to get extra points. However the vouchers had no code/barcode on them, so the assistant just looked them over and put them in the till

My till receipt doesnt show them being credited, so im just wondering how and when they will be added to my account? espec as i have no proof of using them.

i think they had my name and nectar account number on them, so does someone manually add them once they have been received at the cash office? I think the last time i used some at sainsburys the same thing happened, but as i dont keep a tally of my points, i wouldnt know if they were added last time or not either

I think they send them back to Nectar who add them.They never show on the receipt, mine have always appeared a few weeks later.

Yes, they get added manually as bonus points by Nectar around a month after you use them in store.

If you check your online Nectar account you can see itemised Sainsburys points including these bonus points.

The vouchers get sent to nectar and it takes say 3 or 4 weeks for them to be credited to your account, the reason why they arent credited at the store is becuase nectar is run by an outside company and not sainsburys themselves

ps by the look things they now do it via the net, you get an email from nectar about the bonus points you can collect eg basically the same as you get in the mailings but its on the internet, and if you login into nectar you can choose which of the bonus points you would like to use and you do your shopping as usual but you dnt have any vouchers to hand over as the relevant data will be collated by nectar
