I think they are fantastic, one of the best on the market if not the best with page turning rates etc. The only problem being that if you actually buy downloads of ebooks they are not much cheaper than the actual books. I am waiting for a price crach is downloads!! That said you can get free downloads of classic books, and you do get 100 free downloads with the reader at the moment. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Maybe not the best idea then as she spends a fortune every month buying all the latest books out but if they are not too cheap to download wouldn't be a great saving ?travelover0

if you loose a book its a couple of quid, loose one of these and its a few hundred. plus you cant take them to the beach, or near holiday, you gotta charge it up, blimey takes the fun out of reading doesnt it!0

As regards charging - it has 7000 page turns from one charge (only uses power while turning page). If you look on Waterstones site they have ebooks available for download so you can see roughly the price. I can't wait for downloads to be reasonable price cos I think these are a great idea and a lot easier than carting a couple of Stephen King novels on holiday. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Daily mail review of it:

I can imagine it being very useful for those people who need large print books- which are obviously less common and more expensive. The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0 -
Nice idea but from what I have read/seen these will be the book version of the HD-DVD/Bluray saga with about 3 different formats on offer and being restricted to specific stores for your format type. The gadget show did a reasonable review of these things plus the Times article is worth a read as well http://technology.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/tech_and_web/personal_tech/article4681846.ece0
