Just a word of warning when you take up Boden's offer of a 'free' gift that has been advertised in Eve and Red. If you spend over the amount quoted (usually £120) you get the free gift and the promise of 'no quibble returns", however if you need to return an item you are charged for the formerly 'free gift'.

I recently purchased two items totalling £220, received a free top with the first delivery, the second item arriving some weeks later. Unfortunately one of the items didn't fit (boots - around the calf so no option to get the larger size) and I returned it to the shop. Fortunately, because I didn't like it much - the fit was bad - too baggy - I hadn't worn the top, and had it with me when I made the return. I was able to give it back unworn, but this is something to watch out for.

I queried it, but was told that since I was returning one of the items I had no longer spent the threshold amount. I queried it because I feel it should be clearer on the site at the time of the order. At the moment the disclaimer states
"As you have spent over £120.00 (excluding sale items and gift vouchers), you are entitled to a free Printed Shopper or Jewelled Velvet Bag "
But I don't think this makes it clear enough, so wanted to highlight that here.

I went along to the Oxford one and came away with just one pair of mens swim trunks. You were right a complete bun fight, people were going mad. The stuff was £3 or £4 cheaper than online and really a lot was the dregs that nobody ordered throughout the year. I could not find any real bargains myself.
